Our team uses state-of-art technology to perform tests and studies that provide radiologists and physicians the information they need to make an accurate diagnosis and provide more effective treatment.

MRI is a type of diagnostic test that creates detailed images of the brain, abdomen, vascular and neurological systems. It uses magnets and radio waves to deliver images with more clarity for better detection and diagnosis. Our MRI system at the hospital is complemented with a new MRI system at the Diagnostic Center that provides improved image quality and decreased exam times.
A CT scan is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses a combination of X-rays and computer technology to produce images of the inside of the body. Bothwell uses a 128-slice CT scanner at the hospital with excellent image quality and body coverage. It allows radiology technologists to acquire images faster, reducing overall exam times and providing physicians with the detailed images they need to provide accurate diagnoses. Our CT scanner at the Diagnostic Center is a 64-slice CT system.
