What Minor & Quick Care Doesn’t Treat
If your reason for a visit is different than an item on the list, you will most likely need to schedule an appointment with a provider. Examples of illness that would not be seen as a minor or quick care patient include, but are not limited to, medication refills or follow-up visits from appointments related to diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol or other chronic conditions, as these need to be followed up by your primary care provider.
Minor and quick care is not for emergency needs such as heart attacks, stroke or broken bones. If you have these or similar emergency symptoms, you should go to our Emergency Department located in the hospital at 601 E. 14th St.
Minor and quick care is not primary care, so you should also continue seeing your primary health care provider on a regular basis.
If you do not have a primary care provider, our team will help connect you to the appropriate Bothwell providers who are accepting new patients. All records are electronic, just like the rest of Bothwell’s network, so your primary care provider will be able to see your visit records, just as we will have access to your Bothwell medical history.
