SPONSORSHIP AND DONATION GUIDELINES
Purpose
As an essential organization within the region, Bothwell Regional Health Center is committed to being a robust and active partner to our community organizations. One of the ways we do this is by providing support and sponsorship dollars to a select number of events and activities for organizations that improve the lives of those who live and work in the areas we serve.
These sponsorship guidelines are designed to help identify which financial requests, including charitable donations, event sponsorships and in-kind donations, best serve Bothwell’s interests, our patients and local communities.
Organizations, activities and events that promote Bothwell’s mission, vision and values and public purpose will be given top priority when determining potential financial support. In addition, activities and events that promote health, health education, wellness and healthy living also will be given significant consideration.
Criteria
Sponsorship considerations will be given to the following (but not limited to):
- Requests from within Bothwell’s primary service area that includes Pettis and Benton counties and a radius of 40 miles that reaches Saline, Johnson, Henry, Moniteau, Morgan and Cooper counties.
- Community health care-related events or activities that enhance the health or health knowledge of our community and/or promote health and wellness
- Nonprofit organizations that:

- Support good corporate citizenship and solidify business relationships
- Events that provide high level of visibility for Bothwell Regional Health Center
- Events that reach communities Bothwell serves

- Logo items/giveaways
Special consideration is given to organizations/events that have received past support.

How to Apply
Sponsorship requests should be made in writing to Marketing and include:
- Requesting organization description
- Event details
- How the funds will be used
- A full list of sponsorship levels
- Contact information
Clinics, departments, programs or individual employees who receive requests for sponsorships or donations from outside organizations should forward the request to Marketing for consideration. This ensures the standard application of these guidelines.
Procedure
All funding requests will be reviewed by the Chief Executive Officer or Senior Leadership Team for consideration. All decisions made by the CEO or SLT are final.
Budget
Sponsorships are funded and tracked by Marketing. Due to the high volume of funding requests each year, sponsorship requests are dependent on available budget. Not all sponsorship applications will be approved.
Note: Sponsorship is not advertising. Contact Bothwell Marketing and Communications for advertising opportunities.
