Want to Participate?

Show your purse-onality by donating a tax-deductible gift of a Purse-onality Auction Item. These cleverly themed purses, bags and totes will be auctioned off at the event that will be held at The Foundry in downtown Sedalia.

Participate as an individual, showcasing your cause or business, or partner with friends, family, or coworkers to support a great cause in a creative way. This is a great opportunity to put together a one-of-a-kind bag!

How Does it Work?

As a donor for this unique and highly anticipated auction, we ask you to donate a customized purse package reflecting your own "purse-onality.” All bags and their contents will be featured, along with a photo of each donor, in person at the Wear Red event as well as via mobile bidding. The more personality, the better!

Guidelines

  • Donated bags and contents should be new and full-sized (not sample-sized).
  • Fill the package with some of your favorite things!
  • Provide a photo of yourself or we will have the opportunity to take headshots during the Wear Red photo shoot.
  • Provide a list of items included in your package and the approximate total retail value of your Purse-onality package.
  • There is no minimum or maximum value—we will have a wide price range of packages.
  • Please make sure that gift certificates are dated and have at least a 6–12 month redemption period (if applicable).
  • We encourage you to support your favorite local businesses by including them in your Purse-onality package!

Deadline

Jan. 31, 2025 – Completed packages should be delivered to the Bothwell Foundation on the hospital's second floor or be ready for pickup. To arrange pickup or for more information, contact Lauren Thiel-Payne lthiel@brhc.org or 660.829.7786.
