Top baby names of 2024 at Bothwell Regional Health Center
The list of top names for babies born at Bothwell Regional Health Center in 2024 includes both unique and timeless names. Ten girl and 10 boy names hold the title of most popular compiled from the list of the 386 babies born through Dec. 16 at Bothwell.
The most popular girl names were Chloe and Penelope, followed closely by Aurora, Brynlee, Eliza, Evalina, Hadley, Jayla, Melanie and Nova. The most popular boy name for the year was Grayson/Greyson, followed closely by Waylon, Jackson/Jaxon, Daniel, Henry, Miles, Alejandro, Braxton, Jeremiah and Levi. Henry and Jackson were the only returning names from the 2023 list.
“Reviewing the list of baby names each year is always an interesting task,” said Lori Wightman, Bothwell CEO. “We are grateful to be a part of many special days for Bothwell families and honored to be trusted with such a momentous occasion in their lives.”
No girl names at Bothwell overlap with the babycenter.com list of most popular names in 2024; however, Aurora and Nova come close at #12 and #17, respectively. Levi was the only boy’s name to overlap on the top 10 on the national list.
All babies born at Bothwell receive a special “Delivered by Bothwell” baby blanket, packages of diapers and wipes, and safe sleep information provided by the Bothwell Foundation. Families are also given the opportunity to take “Delivered by Bothwell” photos in front of the photo wall in Women’s Health and Newborn Care as they leave the hospital. The wall was funded by the Bothwell Foundation.
