Talk with a Doc session set for March 5 at Baby Café
Dr. Jennifer Dickinson, a physical therapist and pelvic health specialist at Mid-Missouri Pelvic Health, will speak at Pettis County Baby Café on March 5 for a “Talk with the Doc” session.
Dickinson will speak and answer questions from 4 to 6 pm on pelvic floor health and physical therapy, highlighting how therapy can help improve bladder and bowel function, painful intercourse, pregnancy aches and pains, labor and delivery prep, postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, prolapse and more. Refreshments will be served.
Baby Café is a free breastfeeding support group that meets each Tuesday inside Women’s Health and Newborn Care on the first floor of Bothwell Hospital. The group provides pregnant and breastfeeding mothers an opportunity to meet with a lactation consultant, get support from specifically trained staff, hear from special speakers and share experiences with other mothers from the community.
