Dr. Donald Peghee joins Bothwell OB/GYN team
Donald Peghee, MD, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, has joined Bothwell Regional Health Center and will provide specialized care in women’s health, with an emphasis on hormone replacement therapy using bioidentical hormones.
Dr. Donald Peghee has been practicing medicine since 2006 and has extensive experience in hospital and clinic settings. He offers a full range of obstetric and gynecological services, including preventive care, pregnancy and delivery management, complex gynecologic conditions and hormone therapy.
Peghee received his medical degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He has served in leadership roles throughout his career, including medical staff president and department chair, which have shaped his approach to patient care.
“My goal is to provide the highest quality, evidence-based medical care to my patients,” he said. “Women’s health care is deeply personal, and I strive to build trust with my patients through clear communication and shared decision-making.”
Peghee said his passion for obstetrics and gynecology began early in his career after assisting in his first delivery.
“It was like witnessing a miracle,” he said. “That experience inspired me to dedicate my career to women’s health and ensuring patients receive the best possible care.”

Peghee said he chose to join Bothwell because of its integrated hospital and clinic model, which allows for a broad impact on community health.

Outside of medicine, Peghee enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, sports and playing pool.
