Dermatologist joins Bothwell Regional Health Center
Christopher Dallo, MD, a board-certified dermatologist, has joined Bothwell Regional Health Center and will provide skin care for patients of all ages.
As a general dermatologist, Dr. Dallo is formally trained to conduct skin checks, as well as to surgically remove skin cancers on the trunk, arms and sometimes legs. He can also identify, manage and treat various types of skin rashes.
Dr. Dallo is originally from Texas and earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from University of Texas El Paso in 2015. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where he also completed an internship in preliminary internal medicine. In 2023, he completed a three-year dermatology residency at University of Kansas Medical Center. Prior to joining the Bothwell team, he practiced at Mosaic Life Care Hospital in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Dr. Dallo said he was drawn to the medical field for the opportunities to enhance people’s lives and improve their health and well-being.
“Dermatology was a perfect fit for me,” he said. “The continuity of care with patients, the long-term aspect of a patient-physician relationship, and its combination of medical and surgery practice were all qualities of dermatology that drew me to the field and medicine in general.”
Marvin Smoot, Bothwell’s Clinic Operations vice president, said Dallo’s skills, experience and patient philosophy will be a benefit to Bothwell and the entire community.
“We’ve been without full-time local dermatological care in the area for quite some time,” he said. “We’re thrilled to offer this specialty so people don’t have to leave for care. Dr. Dallo takes a patient-centered approach to medical care and values the importance of community outreach. We’re confident he’s going to be a great fit for patients and the community.”
Dr. Dallo said he’s excited to serve people in Sedalia and surrounding communities, meet their medical needs and build relationships.
“I’m inspired by the down-to-earth atmosphere and friendliness that is central to rural communities like Sedalia,” he said. “When patients feel heard and part of the decision-making process when it comes to their care, successful physician-patient relationships are built.”
Dr. Dallo will see patients at Bothwell Specialty Services located at 3131 Brianna Blvd. To make an appointment, call the clinic at 660.829.8899 or Centralized Scheduling at 660.829.8888.
