Bothwell’s CEO elected to serve on ACHE Nominating Committee
Lori Wightman, RN, FACHE, Bothwell Regional Health Center’s CEO, has been elected to serve on the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Nominating Committee.
ACHE is the professional society for health care leaders, which includes more than 48,000 members from across the country. The organization’s Council of Regents elected Wightman to serve on the eight-member Nominating Committee for a two-year term at the 2024 ACHE Congress on Healthcare Leadership held in Chicago March 25-28. The committee is responsible for preparing a slate of candidates for the offices of Chair-Elect, the Board of Governors, Regent-at-Large and the Nominating Committee for the Council of Regents.
“I am honored to be elected for this important role within ACHE,” Wightman said. “ACHE leaders include the Board of Governors and chairman officers who govern and guide the organization and are important decision-makers. It is an incredible opportunity to have a voice in presenting the slate of nominees.”
Wightman has been a member of ACHE for more than 30 years. In 2007, she earned the prestigious, gold standard FACHE® (Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives) credential. This certification provides recognition as a leader among leaders in health care management, demonstrates competency in all areas of health care management, and signifies lifelong commitment to change and improvement. She was on the Council of Regents representing Minnesota from 2008-2011 and served on the ACHE Board of Governors from 2011-2014.
