Pulmonary Rehab Program
Bothwell Regional Health Center offers patients pulmonary rehabilitation at the main hospital. Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a multi-phase, medically supervised exercise therapy program designed to help people with chronic pulmonary diseases.
The pulmonary rehab program uses a multi-disciplinary approach of structured, progressive physical activity, administered by trained therapists and nurses. Program participants are educated about pulmonary disease.
Outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation is for patients who have been diagnosed with chronic lung diseases like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Restrictive Pulmonary Disease and other conditions such as Lung Transplantation.
