Medical professions aren’t exactly as they may be depicted on television, but they still offer exciting and satisfying career opportunities. In order to help teens discover the joys of medical professions and foster an interest in the health industry, Bothwell Regional Health Center is host to Medical Explorer’s Post 75.
Medical Explorers is a national program administered by the Boys Scouts of America and gives teens ages 14 to 18 the opportunity to learn more about careers in the medical field and gain leadership and volunteer experience. Activities include speakers, tours of health center departments and observations of medical workers on the job.
Teens must apply and be accepted into the Medical Explorers program. Contact Human Resources at (660) 827-9540
for more information.
