ATTENTION PARENTS:
You must have ALL paperwork completed — Safe Sitter Contract and Registration form — for your child before class starts.
Pre-registration required one week before class starts.
Early registration recommended. Classes fill up fast.
Dear Safe Sitter Participant:
Thank you for your interest in the Safe Sitter Class. We hope this is a
positive start in your adventures in caring for young children.
We encourage students to read the Safe Sitter Student Contract completely
and sign it. Parents should read the Safe Sitter Registration form and
complete it in its entirety. Both forms can be found on our web site or
picked up at the Bothwell Education Center, 600 East 14th Street, Sedalia.
The Safe Sitter Student Contract and the Registration form should be
submitted with your class fee of $35 to be considered enrolled for the
class. Because these classes fill up quickly, we encourage you to register
well in advance. Scholarships are available on a financial need basis.

Other important information:
- Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Bothwell
Education Center at the corner of 14th and Ingram (the
former Children's Therapy Center). Please arrive in time to
allow for registration.
- Come to class in proper babysitting attire, a standard
T-shirt and blue jeans are fine. Please no spaghetti straps
or revealing clothes. You may want to bring a jacket or
sweater in case the room is cool.
- Bring a sack lunch. A mid-morning and afternoon snack
will be provided.
- Class will begin promptly at 8 a.m.
- Registrants must be between the ages of 11 and 13.
- Parents or guardians are invited to a short completion
program at 3:15 p.m.
- The person bringing the participant must be the one
picking them up. If not, please bring a written and signed
explanation requesting other transportation home.
