Dr. Periapatna Ananth, a board-certified pain management specialist, has joined Bothwell Regional Health Center in the new state-of-the-art Pain Management Center, which provides comprehensive assessment and treatment of people with chronic pain syndromes.
Dr. Ananth is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with additional certification in pain management. He completed his fellowship in Pain Management in Liverpool, England and has worked with pain clinics and hospitals in the Kansas City area for the past 10 years.
The Center is located on the first floor of the Health Center near the Emergency Room and is open every Monday and Wednesday.
The Pain Management Center will treat patients with conditions such as chronic back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cancer-related pain, neuropathies and persistent shingles pain. Ask your physician or practitioner for a referral.
Chronic pain can keep someone from living a productive life and rob them of the ability to enjoy even the simplest pleasures. The Pain Management Center focuses on developing an individualized treatment plan to alleviate the pain and keep it under control so people can enjoy life again.
