Susan Newsom

Longtime Warsaw resident and Bothwell Regional Health Center employee Susan Newsom is returning to her former post to manage both Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake in Warsaw and Bothwell Cole Camp Clinic. The move is effective immediately.

“We are incredibly excited to have Susan back in Benton County,” said Bothwell Chief Executive Officer Jimmy Robertson. “She’s a member of this community, an effective manager and an excellent ambassador for the Bothwell organization.”

Newsom helped open Truman Lake Clinic in January 1996 with Dr. Dale Kesl and then joined Bothwell Regional Health Center when it acquired the practice in 1998. She continued to manage the clinic – including the opening of the new, expanded Bothwell Health Center-Truman Lake in 2009 – until October 2012 when she transferred to Sedalia to serve as a clinical systems specialist in the hospital’s Information Technology Department.

Newsom has lived in Warsaw with her husband for more than 40 years, and their four grown children are graduates of Warsaw High School.

“I’m happy to be returning to Warsaw because it gives me the opportunity to once again help my friends and neighbors have access to the exceptional health and wellness services that Bothwell offers,” Newsom said. “I’ve been with this organization for nearly 20 years, and I continue to be pleased with how they put patients and their families first, and invest in new equipment and treatment options for this region.”

In this role, Newsom will manage the day-to-day operations of the two primary care practices Bothwell Regional Health Center operates in Benton County.
