Bothwell Regional Health Center welcomes new OB/GYN physician
Sedalia, Missouri, Oct. 12, 2017 – Bothwell Regional Health Center is expanding obstetrics and gynecology care with the addition of Dr. Paula M. Schwartz.
Dr. Schwartz is board-certiﬁed by the American Board of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Osteopathic Association. She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biotechnology in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed a residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan.
After completing her training, she worked at Southwest Medical Associates at the Siena and Montecito Healthcare Centers in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Schwartz provides general obstetrics and gynecology services for women across their lifespan. She especially enjoys helping patients navigate through times of transition including teen health, infertility,
high-risk pregnancies, new motherhood and menopause. She is experienced in minimally invasive gynecological procedures from diagnostics to hysterectomies. Minimally invasive procedures oﬀer lower
risk of infection, less scarring, decreased blood loss and reduced postoperative pain.
Dr. Schwartz joins Dr. Nayera Guirguis, Dr. David Oberkrom and Dr. William Smith, in addition to nurse practitioners Deanna Bingham and Fay Evans, at Bothwell OB/GYN Associates, which is located in the Bothwell Healing Arts Center at 3700 W. 10th Street, Suite 100, in Sedalia.
Dr. Schwartz also will provide obstetrics and gynecology care at Bothwell Health Center – Truman Lake in Warsaw.
