Bothwell Regional Health Center to host Alzheimer’s Care Consultation Day


Sedalia, Missouri, July 31, 2017 – The Alzheimer’s Association is offering free consultations on Friday, Aug. 4, to discuss dementia and Alzheimer’s-related issues.

These issues can include how best to handle caregiver stress, questions about diagnosing Alzheimer’s or dementia, resources and services that are available, coping with dementia-related behaviors, and how best to communicate with someone who is suffering from dementia or related illnesses.

Consultations are conducted by a social worker for an hour each at the Bothwell Regional Health Center Education Center at 600 E. 14th St. in Sedalia, adjacent to the hospital. Appointments are required, and can be scheduled by calling 573-443-8665.
