Bothwell Regional Health Center presents a Community Baby Shower on October 7
Sedalia, Missouri, Sept. 25, 2017 — Bothwell Regional Health Center (BRHC) is sponsoring a Community Baby Shower from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7, at First Baptist Church, 200 E. 6th St. in Sedalia.
The event is geared toward expecting mothers and families with toddlers up to 3 years of age. It includes presentations on prenatal care, postpartum care, nutrition and tongue-tied newborns. Information tables will be staffed by representatives from Katy Trail Community Health, Pettis County Health Center, Safe Sitter, WIC, BRHC, Birthright, Early Headstart and Baby Café. There also will be private lactation consultations and bra fittings, as well as car-seat checks.
“This is a great event, with outstanding speakers, community services and prizes,” said Lana Kelly, director of Women’s Health at BRHC. “I am very excited to showcase BRHC and the excellent care available for moms and babies in such a fun atmosphere.”
