Sedalia, Missouri, April 5, 2017 – The Board of Directors for Bothwell Regional Health Center Foundation welcomes three new board members: Terri Paul, Katelin Hladik and Betty Sue Viterna.
Paul worked 35 years for the Social Security Administration. Now she spends her time volunteering with the Sedalia School District Foundation and the Red Cross at Bothwell. Paul also is an active member at St. Patrick’s Church. Paul said the reason she wants to serve on the Foundation’s board of directors is “because I believe in this community and want the opportunity to give back.”
Hladik works for County Distributing Co. as the director of Corporate Social Responsibility. Hladik also is a member of the Women’s Service League of Sedalia, Sacred Heart Active Parents Club, and Delta Zeta House Corporation at Creighton University. Hladik returned to Sedalia last year with her husband and three children. “I am excited to serve on the Foundation Board, because it is an amazing way to give back to our community,” she said. “The Foundation is able to help so many people, and I am excited to be part of that!”
As the appointed president of the Bothwell Auxiliary, Viterna also will serve as their representative on the Bothwell Foundation board. She previously taught elementary school for 30 years in the Kansas City area. Viterna also is president of the Helen G Steele Music Club and is a member of the Heard Memorial Clubhouse Board of Directors. “I believe in supporting our community, whether individually or in a group,” she said. “As the president of the Bothwell Regional Health Center Auxiliary I hope to be the connection between the Foundation and the volunteers of the auxiliary in benefiting the community health system.”
Bothwell Foundation Board members represent a cross-section of the community to address health and wellness issues in the region. The board consists of 14 members.
